Growing the game.
Changing lives.

We connect kids in need with clubs, coaching, and tournaments, so cost never decides who gets to play.

Every kid deserves a shot at the game.

Golf teaches patience, honesty, and resilience. But the cost of clubs, coaching, and competition keeps too many young players off the course. We remove those barriers.

With our donors and tournament sponsors, we fund equipment, lessons, junior tour entry fees, and travel for promising golfers who couldn't otherwise afford to compete.

How we develop the next generation

Every junior follows a funded pathway, from their first swing to the biggest stage their talent can reach.

  1. First Swing

Starter clubs, range passes, and open clinics. No cost to the family and no experience required.

  2. Real Coaching

Ongoing instruction from PGA professionals: fundamentals, course management, and the discipline the game teaches.

  3. Competition

Junior tour entry fees, tournament travel, and mentorship inside the ropes.

  4. College & Beyond

Showcase events, recruiting guidance, and scholarship support on the way to a college roster.

Earn it on the course

Every junior in our program gets a Progress Passport. Coaches sign off each milestone as it happens, and every one unlocks something real, so kids can see how far they've come and know a whole community is behind them.

On the course

  1. First clinic

A starter glove, a sleeve of balls, and their own Progress Passport.

  2. First full 9 holes

Their scorecard, signed by their coach and framed to take home.

  3. First birdie

A Birdie Club pin and a shout-out from the foundation.

  4. Breaking 100, 90, then 80

A personalized headcover, then a custom club fitting, then a season of junior tour entry fees.

In competition

  1. First tournament

A tournament kit: a polo with their name, a yardage book, and a ball marker.

  2. First top-10 finish

Recognition at our next foundation event, in front of the people who made it possible.

  3. Qualifying for a regional event

Travel and entry for that event, covered.

  4. Ready for college golf

A recruiting video and profile for college coaches, plus a showcase entry.

Off the course

  1. Honor roll

A Scholar-Athlete award and extra range time, because school comes first.

  2. Volunteering at our events

A service award and a spot on the junior mentor team.

  3. Mentoring a new junior

A leadership patch and a place in the Junior Showcase Pro-Am.

  4. A full year in the program

An awards night with their family, celebrating everything they earned.

Every milestone is funded by a donor.

Give once or monthly, and you're the reason a kid gets to celebrate. Junior achievements are only shared publicly with a parent's permission.

Yes. The Harry Taylor Golf Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Tax ID (EIN): 42-4403658. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What documentation will I receive for my taxes?

You'll receive an email receipt right after your gift, and an annual giving statement each January summarizing your donations from the prior year.

How is my donation used?

Donations fund junior golf directly: Harry Taylor University memberships, equipment, coaching from PGA professionals, junior tour entry fees, and tournament travel. Tournament sponsorships cover our operating costs.

Can I donate my time instead of money?

Yes. PGA professionals, instructors, college players, and experienced amateurs can sign up to coach: run clinics, give lessons, and mentor juniors at tournaments. Every volunteer coach is vetted before working with kids.

How does my junior apply for a scholarship?

Fill out the short application. It takes about two minutes. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, sponsorships are based on financial need and commitment, and no golf experience is required.

Can my company sponsor or match donations?

Yes. We offer corporate partnership packages, and we can provide the documentation your employer needs for donation matching. Email contact@harrytaylorfoundation.org.
